How to Plan a Green Wedding

Everyone wants a big, fabulous wedding, obviously avoiding the effects on the environment. But not to worry. There are ways you can plan a wonderful yet environment-friendly wedding.
Day-time weddings are best to save electricity. Saving electricity means saving energy thus saving the environment. It also reduces the amount of heat energy released into the atmosphere as compared to normal weddings. Even if planned at night, energy saver bulbs rather than the tungsten ones or candles may be used.
Real or unique flowers, which are rare and normally hard to grow and might have to be imported, should be avoided. Instead, it’s better to use fake plastic or paper flowers which also look pretty to decorate the wedding and may also be used again.
You obviously have to invite the guests using a fancy, colored and lacy invitation card. It’s best to do that using eCards. Simple and less time consuming too.
Firecrackers are often a part of night-time weddings but they release harmful gasses into the air therefore should be avoided.
A bus should be hired to pick and drop all the guests of the wedding as to prevent pollution when each of them travels in their own cars.
